Robotics procurement data, with the evidence attached

Robot Sourcebook publishes cost ranges, spec matrices, market-access compliance files and vendor benchmarks for people who buy robots for a living. Every figure carries a source and an evidence grade — so you can see where a number came from, and which numbers are only our estimate.

Why every figure carries a grade

Because an ungraded number tells you nothing about how much to trust it.

GradeWhat it meansExample
A First-party official: government filings, standards bodies, listed-company disclosure, or data we pulled ourselves US customs ruling N362546; Symbotic 10-K; our own keyword pulls
B Authoritative secondary, traced back to the original Agency market definitions; standard publication status
C Our own estimate or inference — do not cite as fact Labour-replacement models; illustrative cash-flow models

Where all three appear in one page, C is pulled out and labelled separately. We would rather look conservative than let an estimate pass as a fact.

What we don't do

Deliberate omissions, not oversights.

We don't resell raw data

Bills of lading, keyword databases, vendor directories — all purchasable elsewhere, some free. What we sell is the layer that turns them into a decision.

We don't take vendor ads

Rankings and layering are not for sale. A vendor appears here because public records show it active, not because it paid.

We don't write "market size" pages

Agency figures contradict each other and none of them answer "should I buy, and from whom".

Where we stand

Data is purchasable. Judgement is the scarce part — someone has to read all of it and tell you so what. That second part is what we do.
